Next stop on worldwide “One Africa” tour is USM National Convention, Saturday and Sunday, June 15th and 16th
Omali Yeshitela, leader and founder of the worldwide Uhuru Movement, will be speaking in St. Petersburg, FL on Saturday and Sunday, June 15th – 16th for the Uhuru Solidarity Movement’s National Convention, “Overturning the Racial Divide Through Solidarity with African Liberation.”
In high demand from African people around the world, Omali Yeshitela has embarked on a worldwide “One Africa” tour. His keynote address at the convention will be following tour events at African Liberation Day in Paris, France, Cologne and Berlin, Germany and Stockholm, Sweden.
An influential leader and theoretician, Omali Yeshitela’s history in the struggle for African liberation has spanned the last 50 years beginning with the Student NonViolent Coordinating Committee, continuing with the creation of the Junta of Militant Organizations in the 1960s, to the forming of the African People’s Socialist Party and the Uhuru Movement. He has authored powerful books such as “Quotations from Chairman Omali Yeshitela” and “Omali Yeshitela Speaks.”
Chairman of the African People’s Socialist Party and the African Socialist International, Omali Yeshitela is known throughout the world as the leader in the struggle for African liberation and self-determination.
